The history of CITY JUNG Immobilien
Altfrid Jung founded the first office for city locations under the name Westdeutsche City-
Immobilien in his home city of Essen at the beginning of the 1960s, an office that still exists
to this day. Contacts with retailers who wanted to open further shops in the Ruhr Region
showed Altfrid Jung his chance: a specialisation in shops and real-estate in prime city
locations. On account of the great nationwide demand, the field of activities was expanded
in 1967 together with Dr. Fritz Krebs to cover southern Germany. Since then the company's
success has grown steadily so that we now cater for our customers in six branch offices
throughout Germany. Thanks to the regional distribution structure of the individual offices,
we can monitor current market trends nationwide through constant contacts with tenants
and owners.
